About Awakenings Recovery Centers’ Mission
Awakenings is part of the Amatus Health Group, which means that we are committed to providing a high level of care. Our goal is to promote long-lasting recovery in our clients.
Part of our mission is to help every individual who is struggling with substance abuse find the right environment where they can heal. We offer separate men’s and women’s rehab programs so that every one of our clients is comfortable during treatment. And in our facility, you’ll find carefully designed living and dining areas that provide a relaxing environment as you move through the treatment process. Separate sleeping spaces, with private and semi-private bedrooms, ensure a level of privacy when needed. Meals and snacks are provided, with an emphasis on the best ingredients and dishes possible.
Individualized treatment plans are also one of our core values. We believe that every individual in our care has unique needs. Addiction is a complex, chronic disease, and it’s necessary to work through the underlying causes of substance abuse in order to heal. Our therapists, counselors, and case managers work with our clients every step of the way.

We provide treatment for those who are struggling with addictions to alcohol, prescription drugs, and opioids. In addition, we offer treatment for individuals who are working through process addictions, which could include issues with sex or gambling.
Medication-assisted treatment through Suboxone and Vivitrol helps many of our clients during the challenging early days of recovery. These FDA-approved medications can curb cravings and relieve painful or uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. During an initial assessment, our team can determine if you or your loved one is a good candidate for medication-assisted treatment.
We incorporate a wide variety of therapies into each client’s treatment plans to help address the underlying causes of addiction. These include group and family therapy, dual diagnosis, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and activity therapy.
Our facility is designed to support the high quality of treatment we provide. Our facility provides convenient access to the community and a local network of organizations focused on recovery. At every level, we treat the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of addiction, connecting you with the resources you need. Aftercare and alumni programs help our clients maintain their sobriety even after leaving a treatment program
